The Romanian Government has approved an Emergency Ordinance aimed at supporting local authorities by introducing a series of modifications to streamline the procedures through which projects are funded under the National Investment Program "Anghel Saligny".

Over 1,500 investment projects will be eligible for funding as a result of these changes.

Additionally, through a Memorandum approved today at the initiative of the Ministry of Development, payment will be ensured for works already executed under the "Anghel Saligny" Program, the National Local Development Program (phases 1 and 2), and the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).
