Minister Adrian-Ioan Veștea conducted a working visit to Satu Mare County to inspect a series of projects funded by the Ministry of Development and sign contracts for new investments that will be implemented in the county.

In the commune of Apa, the National Investment Company has financed the construction of a sports hall with a 102-seat grandstand, designed primarily for educational use. The project, worth 7.5 million lei, will be able to host both recreational activities and local and county-level sports competitions.

The commune of Beltiug also has a new sports hall with a 180-seat grandstand, worth 10.2 million lei, which can be used by both students and the rest of the community on weekends or during holidays.

The communes of Odoreu, Beltiug, and Supur will receive over 41 million lei for the rehabilitation and modernization of streets and connecting roads, following the signing of financing contracts under the "Anghel Saligny" National Investment Program. Through this program, over 8 million lei have been allocated for the modernization of the communal road (DC) 6 Cămărzana – Turț.

"Together with the team at the Ministry of Development, we stand by all local elected officials who strive to do concrete and useful things for the communities they represent, and we support them by providing the financial resources for projects aimed at making people's lives easier," said Minister Veștea.

The Minister of Development also met with local authorities in Satu Mare County to discuss the challenges they face, analyze ongoing projects, and identify new funding opportunities through programs coordinated by the Ministry of Development, Public Works, and Administration.
