Adrian-Ioan Veștea, the Minister of Development, Public Works and Administration, had, today, a working meeting with the members of the Ministerial Committee for Emergency Situations, during which the Regulation on the management of emergency situations generated by the earthquake was analyzed and approved, the Plan earthquake preparedness of employees, as well as the MDLPA's Emergency Evacuation Plan.

"Prevention is easier than treatment! That is why it is extremely important that we have, at the MDLPA level, such documents that regulate how we must act in the event of an earthquake.

All the officials in the ministry must know these rules, as well as the evacuation flows in case of undesirable situations", said Minister Veștea.

Thus, three personnel evacuation scenarios are considered:

the situation in which the occurrence of a disaster would partially or insignificantly affect the construction elements and installations of the permanent locations where the ministry operates, it being possible for the employees to return to the work spaces in a short time;

the situation in which the evacuation is determined by the occurrence of a disaster affecting the buildings in which the ministry operates, and, for the return of employees to the workplaces, their expertise by specialized personnel is necessary, possibly the performance of consolidation works that can last at least 4 -6 months;
