ANCPI (National Agency for Cadastre and Real Estate Publicity) reports that in June 2023, a total of 44,419 properties were sold across the entire country, which is 12,780 fewer than in May. The number of houses, lands, and apartments involved in transactions in June decreased by 8,527 compared to the same period in 2022.
The highest number of property sales in June 2023 was recorded in Bucharest - 7,253, followed by Ilfov - 3,023, and Brașov - 2,247. The counties with the fewest properties sold during the same period were Teleorman - 84, Olt - 100, and Ialomița - 253.
The total number of mortgages in June 2023, at the national level, was 17,548, which is 3,849 less than in June 2022. The most mortgage operations were registered in Bucharest - 3,777, Ilfov - 1,528, and Timiș - 825. On the other hand, the counties with the least mortgage operations were Sălaj - 37, Harghita - 58, and Bistrița Năsăud - 63.
Regarding agricultural lands, the counties with the highest number of sales in June 2023 were Dolj - 593, Buzău - 552, and Galați - 456.
In the first six months of 2023, a total of 281,573 properties were transacted, which is 59,500 fewer than in the same period last year. The highest number of sales was recorded in March - 57,499, while the lowest was in January - 33,274.
