The Government of Romania has decided to allocate the amount of 16 million lei from the Budget Reserve Fund at the disposal of the Government, provided for in the state budget for the year 2024, for two administrative-territorial units.

These funds were allocated at the request of local authorities, through the Prefectures and County Councils of Prahova and Hunedoara counties, to ensure the operating and development expenses of local public administration authorities.

Thus, for the city of Slănic (Prahova county), the amount of 12 million lei was allocated for the realization of reports, studies, and expertise for securing and monitoring the area affected by landslides that occurred on August 23rd, as well as for providing accommodation for evacuated persons from homes in the risk area and for carrying out emergency intervention works.
