Minister Adrian-Ioan Veștea signed 49 new financing contracts today under the "Anghel Saligny" National Investment Program, totaling 437,531,134.65 lei.
The contracts, signed together with some of the project beneficiaries, involve the modernization of road infrastructure, establishment or expansion of drinking water supply systems, household sewage networks, and sewage treatment plants, construction of bridges, and expansion of intelligent natural gas distribution systems.
"We have more and more mayors signing contracts for projects submitted under the 'Anghel Saligny' National Investment Program, and these projects are beginning to take shape in all counties of the country. It is essential to develop Romania in a unified and equitable manner, thus eliminating regional disparities and raising the standard of living for people.
Therefore, the Ministry of Development, Public Works, and Administration has the obligation to implement this program and support local public authorities through all available means, including providing expertise.
I reiterate that my door, as the Minister of Development, is and will always be open to all those who wish to carry out projects with concrete and lasting effects for their communities.
In this regard, I am pleased to note that representatives of local authorities understand the importance of continuous involvement, collaboration, and ongoing dialogue between institutions because only through sustained efforts and genuine interest can we achieve our common objectives," said Minister Adrian-Ioan Veștea.
